Welcome
to the official website for the Worcestershire Cricket Umpires and Scorers
Association (WCUSA). This website provides details and information for all
members of the association and any prospective umpires and scorers.
WCUSA was formed in 1971. The aims of the association are to foster interest
in umpiring and scoring; to further the interests of cricket by instruction
and examination, to assist all members, if required, to progress to the
highest level through the ECB ACO Performance and Potential Programme,
to maintain and promote friendly relations with all cricket organizations.
The association currently has more than 111 active members and 37 social
members. Meetings are held throughout the year which are open to both
current and prospective members. Training courses are held every year
in both the north and south of the county for both new and existing umpires
and scorers. Anyone wishing to attend a training course or become a member
should click on the appropriate button on the left.
Through the appointments secretary we supply over 600 umpires each year
to officiate at matches at all levels from representative matches to schools
and club matches and all ages from under 11 to 60+. These matches are
not confined to Worcestershire. Clubs wishing to request suitably qualified
and experienced umpires should click on the Fixtures Button.
Anyone with any general enquiries should contact the secretary, information
on our contacts page.
